# Welcome to Edgee

> Route agent requests, control spending, and understand team usage.

Edgee is an **Agent Gateway** between your coding agents and model providers. Use it to route requests, control spending, reduce redundant tokens, and understand usage across your team. Developers keep their coding tools; administrators manage shared settings in the console.

The **CLI** launches your agent through the gateway. The **gateway** handles model requests. The **console** manages your organization's configuration and shows its usage.
